Location: Lexington, KY

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days, 4x10s or 5x8s with call; cases typically scheduled 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 24/7 on-call rotation with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $86 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and monitor duties during interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Assist cardiologists in a fast-paced Cath Lab with 4 suites and 10-15 cases per day
• Ensure patient safety and hemodynamic stability throughout procedures
• Document accurately in Epic and Merge systems
• Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time
• Float to other procedural areas as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

• Two or more years of current Cath Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
• Ability to scrub and monitor independently
• Experience with Epic and Merge preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and Merge imaging systems
• Knowledge of interventional procedures including structural heart and peripheral vascular
• Skill in anticipating the needs of the cardiologist during procedures
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
