Job Description Manager Sales (Compressor)

Position: Manager Sales Compressor

Location: Nigeria

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Manager Sales (Compressor) to drive business growth and expand our market presence in the industrial compressor segment. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical and commercial expertise in compressor sales and have a proven track record of achieving revenue targets in B2B industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of industrial air compressors and related solutions across target industries.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable compressor solutions based on technical and operational needs.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and technical discussions with clients.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, installation, and after-sales support.
• Build long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8 + years of experience in B2B sales of industrial compressors.
• Strong technical knowledge of compressor technologies and applications.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and advise on appropriate compressor selection.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working independently.

Candidates currently working with or having prior experience with leading compressor manufacturers such as:

• Atlas Copco
• Elgi Equipments
• Ingersoll Rand

Candidates working with authorized dealers/distributors of the above brands will also be considered.
