Job Description

Salary: $71,500 - 99,500 per year Requirements:

7–10 years of software development experience, particularly with PowerBuilder
Strong PowerBuilder expertise
Proficiency in SQL and database management
Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
Understanding of application architecture and design patterns
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Preferred: experience with Java, C#, or .NET; familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; knowledge of cloud platforms, Git or other version control systems, and DevOps practices and tools

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using PowerBuilder
Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and turn them into technical specifications
Review code and uphold software development best practices
Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to improve performance and user experience
Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment
Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures
Keep current with industry developments and technologies related to PowerBuilder and software development
Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members
